Han Widjaja Chen, CCIM

Han Widjaja Chen is the founder and president of Growth Investment Group, a commercial real estate investment brokerage company that specializes in multifamily investments in Los Angeles with a focus in the San Gabriel Valley area. He led a successful team of specalized commercial real estate agents that have helped many GIG clients multiply their wealth through apartment sales. As of Q4-2022, GIG's team has sold over $1.803billion of closed transactions. Many active real estate agents/brokers have hired Han’s team to help them sell their apartment properties.

Han’s humble commercial real estate career begins in 2007 with Colliers International. He quickly became the top multifamily agents at Colliers International Los Angeles. After 4-years tenure with Colliers International, Han became one of the principals/ shareholders in 2012 at Lee Associates ISG where he also became #1 multifamily agent at the company. After seeing his clients’ needs for a more responsive and personalized approach to multifamily investments, Han decided to found Growth Investment Group in 2014 in a strategic alliance with KW Commercial in Pasadena. During his partnership with KW Commercial Pasadena, Han once again became #1 multifamily broker in the company.

In order to provide his clients a more entrepreneurial engagement, Han decided to operate GIG as its own company independent from any national franchises affiliation. Since its full inception, GIG has multiplied its client’s net worth through multifamily investments and quickly becoming the top multifamily boutique firm in San Gabriel Valley.

Even though he started his commercial real estate career only about 15 years ago, Han was able to build his own multifamily/commercial real estate portfolio in San Gabriel Valley and now offers his clients unique and professional insights of the apartment market, operations, and management as a fellow commercial real estate investor. His approach of partnering with his clients to maximize their property value to achieve their goals has earned him trusts and continued businesses from his many clients.

Justin McCardle

Justin McCardle specializes in the sale of multifamily properties throughout Los Angeles County, with a focus in the North and Northeast LA areas. His in depth market knowledge and hard work have enabled him to successfully close many transactions in the area. Through consistent effort and dedication, Mr. McCardle has established long term relationships with his clients, many who are large players in the Commercial Real Estate world.

Evan Monroe

Evan T. Monroe was born and raised in Pasadena, CA. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Southern California, where he first developed an interest in the world of commercial real estate.

During his time at USC, Evan studied topics ranging from Macroeconomics and Consumer Behavior to Behavioral Genetics and Cognitive Neuroscience. As an Associate with Growth Investment Group (San Gabriel, CA), Evan utilizes his detailed market knowledge, strong interpersonal communication skills, and familiarity with the East Los Angeles, Highland Park, and Eagle Rock communities to provide excellent advisory services to multi-family investors in the area. Outside of commercial real estate, Evan is also passionate about music, travel, language learning, creative writing, and film.

Dimitre Petrov

Dimitre Petrov

Dimitre is a multifamily specialist with Growth Investment Group California. As a San Gabriel Valley native, Dimitre has a deep knowledge of the area and caters to each client’s individual needs, while also leveraging his network of attorneys, lenders, home inspectors, and appraisers. Dimitre was introduced to the real estate industry by a friend who ran his own successful brokerage. Inspired by the entrepreneurial spirit and success he began to study for his license, obtaining it in 2021, kicking off his career with Keller Williams Covina in the same year.

After almost a year with the brokerage Dimitre decided residential real estate was not for him, as he was more interested in the investment side of real estate and helping clients build generational wealth. In the summer of 2024 he completed a rigorous 10 week training program at Marcus & Millichap, one of the top CRE brokerages in the country.

There he learned about business development calls, the brokerage continuum, managing client expectations, and underwriting of various commercial properties. Prior to his real estate career he worked for Bristol Farms, a boutique grocery store chain as a seafood clerk. During this time he picked up key communication, multitasking and organizational skills which he still applies today. In his spare time Dimitre enjoys playing basketball, reading, and volunteering at his church.

Abel Benitez was born and raised in San Gabriel, California and graduated from Temple City Hight School. Soon after, he worked up through the hospitality industry and achieved key management roles at a young age. By taking an entrepeneurial routee, Abel discovered a passion for Real Estate and joined Growth Investment Group as a Business Development Associate.

Within a year he learned about the key principles of Commercial Real Estate and now specializes in Multi-Family Sales across Southern Los Angeles in neighborhoods such as Vermont Square, University Park, Florence Graham & many more nearby markets.
