  We first met with Han Widjaja Chen when we bought our apartment properties in San Gabriel Valley around 5-6 years ago. Since then, we have bought additional properties in Los Angeles County and have fostered good relationships with many active real estate brokers and agents.

  When our family decided to exit California apartment market altogether, we were facing an option of hiring multiple brokers to sell each building or hire one great broker. At the end of the day, after seeing Han’s approach to selling apartment buildings and how he has successfully helped his other clients getting good price for their apartments, we decided to hire Han as our exclusive listing agents to sell all the apartments in our portfolio.

  Not long after we signed the listing agreement with Han, the COVID-19 pandemic hits! Regardless of that, he plowed through, continued his marketing and calling; and soon enough he successfully sold 6 buildings for us, each building to a different buyer (no quantity discount!). In some instances, he even helped us lease-up vacancies to push for the sale (vacant units reduce the loan amount and reduce buyer’s pool).

  We deeply appreciate his tenacity, work ethics, professionalism and his “get the job done” attitude regardless of the market challenges (Covid-19, Los Angeles eviction moratorium, tenants’ delinquencies, etc.).
